In 2021, CD Baby's marketing department set the goal of increasing account sign ups and general music submissions as both had been waning toward the end of the year. To do that, CD Baby took an unprecedented discount on all paid services for Black Friday – something that had not been done in previous sales campaigns. To communicate this, we designed and produced a campaign that not only emphasized the discount using motion graphics, but utilized a nicely contrasting color palette in order to do so. In the end, our goals were surpassed by a significant margin!
